Golf swing HELP!!!!! driver?

ok so at the start of the year i would slice the ball alot then i got lessons and hit a slight draw which was good, then it turned into just going straight then into a fade and now back into a slice. why did this happen?

To understand ball flight, you have to know why the ball does what it does. Ball flight is determined by two things: 1. swing path, in relation to the target line and 2. club face angle in relation to the target line. For this explanation, we’ll say the swinger is right handed. We’ll call the target line 0 degrees in this case.Strait. anything + will be to the right of that line (open), and – will be to the left (closed)

If player A swings from inside to out +2 degrees and the face is open +2 degrees, the ball will go strait to the right or be a “push”. If the player swings +2 degrees right and the face is 0 degrees(at target) the shot will be a draw. It is the same for slice or face. If the swing path is out to in -2 degrees, and the face is square (0 degrees) the ball will fade. if the swing path is any negative degree (-1 to -??) but the face is at +1 or more, you’re going to get a slice, and a wicked one at that, depending how high the numbers are.

If i had to take a guess, i’d say it’s a combination of the two factors that are causing you to slice. Remember the PGA technique. ball POSITION, GRIP, ALIGNMENT. check these first. Make sure your feet are set up properly to the target. Make sure the club face is aligned right. make sure your grip is neutral (or a little strong since you tend to slice). If all those are correct, check your swing plane. Be sure you’re taking it back on line or to the inside, and swinging through online or from inside to out a little. If you’re sure that is correct, the last thing is the release of the club. Make sure you’re not trying to “steer” the shot and inadvertently holding the face open. release that club so your arms, shaft and belt buckle point down the target line. The toe of the club should be pointing perfectly to the sky. If it’s pointing to the right the face is open, to the left, the face is closed.
